BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS - Itineraries and Prices

The Itinerary and prices are effective as of 1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024. The operator reserves the right to cancel tours and amend prices, Itineraries, and days of operation as required. Alternative transport may have to be used at times if necessary. Any personal expenses to the client, because of weather, flooding or delay, or alteration of any tour or any other causes are the responsibility of the client. Taking out travel insurance is highly recommended. Refunds due to weather conditions or wet weather are not available. All prices shown are in Australian currency, including GST. All Prices are subject to Government, Hotel, and fuel surcharges. Our 4WD tour requires at least 4 people to run. Our small bus tour requires at least 6 people to run.

 

Child Prices

Children up to the age of 15 may be entitled to a child discount. 

Cancellation 2-Day Tours and extended touring

30 – 20 days Period of Notice:

40% Cancellation fee

19 – 15 days Period of Notice:

50 % Cancellation fee

14-0 days Period of Notice:

100 % Cancellation fee

Cancellation Day Tours

Within 14 – 8 days Period of Notice:
50 % Cancellation fee

Within 7 days or no show :
100 % Cancellation fee

All tours have to be paid in full 30 days before departure. Depending on which tour you have chosen, a deposit will have to be paid at the time of booking.

Depending on the third-party policies cancellation fees may will occur and your deposit will be taken to cover the cancellation cost, e.g. accommodation providers, cruise ship companies, etc.

Therefore we strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover these costs in case of sickness or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

Kakadu National Park tickets

The entry fee for Kakadu National Park is $ 40 per Adult and & $ 25 per child. Please purchase your ticket online, otherwise, we will give you the option to purchase it before we enter the National Park at our first stop on your tour.

These tours are not operated by Australia 2001 Travel and therefore we cannot take responsibility for any injury or loss of any type arising in any manner, including whether because of negligence or otherwise.

Tour participation

Children under the age of 18 years old need to be accompanied by an adult. Australia 2001 Travel reserves the right to refuse to carry anyone if it is felt the individual cannot cope with the requirements of the 4WD drive travel and may require services and facilities we cannot guarantee to be available.
You agree to not hold Australia 2001 Travel responsible for any decision made by us or any service provider to refuse to carry you, provide any facilities or accommodation to you or provide any service to you. It is your responsibility to inform us about any hotel changes, which might have occurred since your booking.

 

Tour Itinerary

Tour Itineraries may have to be adjusted due to extreme weather conditions, National Park road or attraction closures, and cultural commitments from Traditional Owners. The tour guide will inform you about changes as soon as it comes to their attention, but no refund will be given.

Taking part in any of our tour itineraries, passengers agree to undertake all adventures and activities like walking and swimming at their own risk. Our tours are designed for all ages. A normal fitness level is required, and the passenger would need to be able to step into a 4WD vehicle, a small step can be provided.

Please note that the itinerary may be done in reverse at guides discretion.

 

Liability

Our company offers a high safety record, and we will inform you about any circumstances, which could be a risk to your health and safety. We do have all the required insurance in place; however, it is your responsibility for you and your children to follow the tour guides’ guidelines to stay safe.

Any action you take in regard to any tour activities outside these safety guidelines becomes your responsibility.

Swimming and bush walking safety are at your own risk and not covered by our public liability insurance.

We highly recommend having your own travel insurance in place before commencing our tours.
