Litchfield National Park is one of the Top Ends’ most popular parks, due to its opportunity to save swimming (where indicated) and its closeness to Darwin.

We travel in small groups of between 6-10 guests only in a comfortable minivan and we will make sure you will be spoilt for the whole day.

We will pick you up at your hotel at 8.00 am and will make our way to Litchfield National Park. Just sit back and enjoy the views through savanna woodlands and ancient sandstone country. We will break at the only small township of this region, Batchelor, a place of a rich mining and pastoral history. 

Litchfield offers pristine creeks, water holes, and cascading waterfalls. We will be visiting Wangi Falls, and Florence Falls and have time for walks and a swim at the Buley rock holes, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. We can tailor the day to your liking, due to our small group size. 

Litchfield National Park is the home of the Cathedral and Magnetic Termite mounds and we will stop and learn about these natural architects of the bush, the termites. Our professional and experienced guide will share the colorful regional history, of settlers, Aboriginal locals, and the first pioneers in the region with you. We have fresh fruit, snacks, and iced water on offer for you all day. You will be traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned Toyota Minibus and we have sunscreen and insect repellent as well as swim noodles available for you.

A child seat for the ages 3-8 years old is available on request. Children under the age of 2 travel for free. Infants are not recommended for this tour. Average fitness level required. Grade: Easy

 What to bring:

• Sun protection clothing: light, long arm shirt, hat, light shoes, water shoes if available, goggles.
• Clothes to change into after swimming, to visit other attractions.
• Swim gear and your towel
• 1 small backpack per person

• Lunch options: bring your own and we provide an esky to keep it cool or speak to your tour operator to organise a fresh picnic lunch for you, ($10 per person)

The Northern Territory has introduced National Park tickets for Litchfield National Park. These are park charges and they are not included in this tour. Please purchase them before your tour.

Conditions:

We are fully insured, and your guide will make sure to advise you, to keep you safe while on tour with us. As we are traveling into the nature of the Top End, it is important to follow the tour guide’s instructions and all times. Small children need to be supervised by at least one parent at all times.

We like to inform you that all activities on this tour are at your own risk: e.g. swimming and bush walking and we highly recommend taking out your a travel insurance before embarking on our tour.

Tours sometimes need to be adjusted due to weather and road conditions. Sometimes the tour itinerary has to be swapped around, depending on the availability of third-party providers.
