Embark on a five-day adventure across the Northern Territory with this private guided tour. The tour starts in Darwin, where you will explore the town and visit attractions such as Stokes Hill Wharf and the Darwin Museum. You will then venture outside Darwin to Litchfield National Park, where you can swim in water holes and visit termite mounds. After visiting Kakadu National Park and taking a cruise along the East Alligator River, you will visit Nourlangie and Warradjan Cultural Centre before cruising through Yellow Water Billabong. The tour ends at Nitmiluk National Park with a Katherine Gorge cruise before returning to Darwin. The tour includes all entrance tickets, accommodation, meals, and cold water all day

1 Day: For our 5-day tour, everything will be more relaxed, as we have enough time to enjoy everything thoroughly. We are starting at a leisurely time of 9 am for your private Darwin tour.

This town tour includes the highlights of Darwin, Stokes Hill Warf, Cullum Bay, East Point with Lake Alexander, the streets of Darwin, and the Darwin Museum. Depending on your personal interests we can add any extra stops, e.g., Aviation Museum or the RFDS, just to mention some. 

After a nice lunch break overlooking Funny Bay, we make our way to Berry Springs Nature Reserve. Here you will have the afternoon for your own leisure. This area has a hot spring waterfall, perfect for a little massage, before gliding on your swim noodle down the warm waters along the pandana’s fringed shores. Snorkeling is also an option as Berry springs is home to a variety of fish and turtles.

We will drop you off at your Darwin hotel in the afternoon.

Includes: 1 private-conditioned 4WD, 1 accredited guide, all entrance tickets, lunch in Funny Bay, swim noodles ,and iced cold water all day. 

2 Day: We start our extended tour outside of Darwin today and we will pick you up around 7.30 am. We are traveling down south along the Stuart Highway to the famous Litchfield National Park.

On arrival we embark one of the short walks or enjoy the many water holes of Buley rock holes, and visit Florence and Wangi falls for a swim.  A stop at the impressive termite mounds is a must on the route.

For more adventurous guests we can change the itinerary to visit the Lost City via a 4WD track. A beautiful day in nature and enjoyment comes to an end at the stunning Lake Bennett resort.

Enjoy a sunset drink and dinner on the deck, overlooking the Lake.

Includes: All attractions in Litchfield National Park, as well as the Park tickets, morning tea, picnic lunch, 1-night accommodation at De Lago Resort on Lake Bennett

Day 3: Today will be an early start from De Lago Resort to make our way along Arnhem land highway towards Kakadu National Park. Our first stop for morning tea will be at Fogg Dam, where we find an amazing variety of bird life, and maybe spot some buffalos in the distance.

By Lunch time we will walk along the stunning Aboriginal Rock Art Gallery of Ubirr. This area is teaming with ancient rock art and history. For all reasonable fit guests an amazing 360 degree lookout awaits on the top of Ubirr, overlooking the Nadab wetlands.

In the afternoon we have planned an exciting cruise on the East Alligator River for you. These tours are guided by local guides from Arnhem land and you learn about their customs and culture. This tour includes the opportunity to step onto Arnhem land.

Includes: Morning tea at Fogg Dam, guided interpretive walk in Ubirr, Aboriginal guided cruise, lunch, iced water all day, Kakadu National Park tickets, and 1-night accommodation in Kakadu.

Day 4: We will pick you up after breakfast to start another exciting day with a short drive through the township of Jabiru, the main and only township in Kakadu National Park. Our first stop will be at Nourlangie (Burrunkuy) where we embark on a 1.5-hour interpretive walk and see, hear, and learn more about ancient Rock Art. We share the stories of the local Binjin people, while we enjoy more stunning views over Nourlangie Rock and the Arnhem land escarpment. We will serve you a morning tea after our walk before we continue our journey to the south. Our next stop will be at the interpretive Warradjan Culture Centre, which has a very interesting display of history, hunting stories, and other cultural aspects.

After our lunch, we will drive you to the jetty, from where you will be departing on your famous Yellow Water Billabong cruise.

This Billabong is teaming with a great variety of bird life, saltwater crocodiles, and endless carpets of waterlilies. This 1.5-hour cruise will be conducted by a local guide. After your pickup from your cruise, we offer light refreshments, before we drive to Kathrine. Overnight in Kathrine

Includes: Walk at Nourlangie, visit the Warradjan Culture Centre, Yellow Water Billabong cruise (1.5 hours), morning tea, lunch and dinner, 1-night accommodation in Kathrine, cold water all day, and healthy refreshments.

Day 5: After breakfast, we pick you up at your hotel to make our way to Nitmiluk National Park for your 1.5-hour Katherine Gorge cruise. This includes a 2-Gorge cruise and a small walk between the Gorges, where you can also admire some ancient Rock Art. The stunning scenery has been the backdrop for a few Australian movies.

We serve a picnic lunch before we make our way up north along the Stuart highway, for the last highlight of our 5-day tour, Edith falls, (Lelyn). This pandana fringed water hole has all year flowing waterfalls. We offer options for small walks, swimming or just sitting back and enjoying the scenery. Finally, you can sit back, and we will make our way to Darwin. The tour concludes with your hotel drop-off.

Includes: Kathrine Gorge cruise (2 Gorges), morning tea and lunch, Edith falls, a drop off at your hotel in Darwin

This tour can be also offered in a reverse way, mainly depending on availability of accommodation in Kakadu and Katherine. This tour and pricing are on request and parts of the tour can be adjusted to your own liking. E.g., maybe include a 4WD trip to Maguk waterfalls instead of the Yellow Water Billabong cruise.
